GSTFlix ("GSTFlix", "we", "us", "our") operates the website gstflix.com (the "Site"), a free GST calculation and compliance toolkit for users in India. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. 2. Information we do not collect
GSTFlix's calculators, invoice generator, HSN finder, and GSTIN validator run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Amounts you enter, invoices you draft, calculation history, and any business details you type into the invoice generator are never transmitted to our servers, because GSTFlix has no backend database. This data is written only to your browser's localStorage, is never uploaded anywhere, and is cleared if you clear your browser's site data.
3. Information we may collect automatically
Like most websites, the Site may use standard web server logs and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — such as which pages are visited, approximate geographic region, device type, and referring website. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. If advertising is served on the Site (see Section 5), the advertising provider may set cookies subject to their own privacy policy.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Site uses browser localStorage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your calculation history (up to 20 entries), saved invoices (up to 10), your invoice numbering counter, and your display preference (standard vs. lakh/crore format). You can clear this data at any time using your browser's site settings, or using the "Clear History" control within the Site itself.
5. Advertising
GSTFlix is a free tool and may be supported by third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense in designated ad slots. These networks may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance, in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or via the Google Ads Settings page.
6. Third-party links
The Site links to external resources such as the official GST Portal (gst.gov.in) and CBIC (cbic.gov.in). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Data security
Because calculation data stays on your device, the primary security consideration is your own device and browser security. We recommend keeping your browser updated and avoiding shared/public computers when entering sensitive business data such as GSTIN or invoice details.
9. Your rights
Since GSTFlix does not maintain a server-side account or database of your personal information, there is typically no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf beyond what you control directly in your own browser. If you have contacted us via email, you may request that we delete that correspondence by writing to support@gstflix.com.
